Well, I finally got around to recording the headlines from Monday. All taken directly and unchanged from CNN.com. This is a very serious installment, if you’re keeping track. Not in any way comedic like last week’s version.

So, also, did you know that Poor Elvis has a show?…TONIGHT at the Mutiny at 9pm sharp. It’s the birthday party of a good friend, Jeff. His band, the Dirty Generals, is also playing. Come on out. It’s free. I’ll be wearing white in, maybe, the dirtiest bar in Chicago. And, well, it’ll be fun.

Also, also. I am working hard on a new 7-inch vinyl that’s due out in June. Almost all the recording is wrapped up. Be sure to check back for updates. There’s sure to be some good ones in the next few days and weeks.
